Peer Link

A Culture of Care Through Peer Connection

Peer Link is Mobile United’s peer-to-peer prevention and leadership program for high school juniors and seniors across Mobile City and County. The program prepares students to serve as peer counselors—supporting mental health and substance-use prevention through peer connection, early recognition of warning signs, and referrals to trusted adults and community resources.

While Peer Link Counselors are not clinical providers, they play a critical role in strengthening peer support networks, increasing awareness, and fostering healthier, safer school communities. The long-term goal of Peer Link is to establish a sustainable culture of care in every Mobile County high school while developing the next generation of youth leaders.
